  Our moving experience with First Choice Movers quickly went from 5 stars down to 1. They started off very professional and courteous, showing up at our house to provide a detailed and what they said was accurate quote in advance of our move. We needed storage for our items for 3 months and they provided that service as well which was great. The move out was awesome. When it came time to get our stuff 3 months later, things went downhill. While the crew was great, the care that was taken of our stuff was not. Our artwork, that we were informed was going to be stored safely in art boxes, arrived to us with numerous broken and damaged frames. Then, while unloading our sectional couch, they discovered that gasoline had spilled all over, soaking it through. It took several more hours for the boss to give me a call back to discuss my couch, and when he did, he was offering to simply clean it. I was not happy with this since they were going to take my couch away to do this offsite and I had no idea what sort of quality control would be taken to fix the interior where it had clearly soaked through to. In the end I was bullied down to receiving only $400 for a sectional that cost over $2000 and was only a couple years old. In addition, they dramatically increased the price of the original quote, claiming it was because we added extra items since the original quote (we did add a tiny storage unit with items that took them less than 30 minutes to load up, not enough to justify the dramatic price increase that we received, even at a rate of $150/hr). They assured us at the time of the initial quote that they would not increase it more than 10% of original estimate. They far exceeded this amount. If you like your stuff, NEVER use this company. I am very disappointed that what started out as an amazing experience with First Choice movers went downhill so quickly because they refused to take full responsibility for the damage they had caused.
